During early December 2024, Wipuhara Kapene (28, pictured below) allegedly shot and killed a man in Lower Hutt. Kapene fled the scene and left the region… but he did not get away.
Thanks to Blue Eagle’s close ties with law enforcement, Kapene was successfully tracked down and arrested.
